If you reside in Maricopa County, here are a few events to commemorate the life of MLK. Events include the traditional marches held in Mesa and Phoenix as well as a torch run, festivals and days dedicated to community service. Keynote speakers include Arizona State University football coach Herm Edwards and Erica Maxwell, the Arizona Department of Education’s first associate superintendent of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
